I am so excited as I won an award at KAUST Sustainability for my beeswax wrappers. I had to go on stage and I won a solar panel that will be perfect for trekking! There were about 6,000 people at the events and I was nervous and happy at the same time.
Since February, I have sold wrappers at the community market and have orders for more. Grandpa sent me more information about how to make my wrappers better so I ordered more ingredients that are coming so that I can add resin and oils to make the wrappers stickier. I had an order for KUAST Sustainability that I need to get ready for with this new recipe. I hope it works.

I like helping others: people and animals. I began to think about this more when I was six and Mum and I donated our hair to people who had cancer and had lost their hair. This was the first time I gave something important to other people. I felt good that I could help people and I have now done this twice. I am going to keep doing it because I am lucky to be healthy and happy and I can easily just grow more hair. I think that sometimes it is the little things that we do that are the nicest things we can do for others.
The first time I went to Nepal I saw so many dogs and puppies that needed help. I really wanted a puppy and so I saved up money. When I had enough I showed Mum and Dad the money but they said that we would never buy a dog but we could possibly adopt one that needed a caring home. This is how we got Wile. We call him our adopt-a-pup.
After going to Nepal, I realised that there are a lot of people and animals that I can help have a better life. My fundraising project with Beeswax wrappers started because too many people use too much plastic and it is very bad for the world. Then I realised that I could make them and sell them to people so that they didn't need to buy them on Amazon (because they are very expensive on Amazon) and the money I got I could give to Barang school.
I started to experiment with Mum making some and they worked! So we made lots and advertised to sell them and many people did buy them. I then went to the Sustainability Exposition. Dad helped me make a sign for the Expo. to help tell people why the beeswax wrappers are good and why they should buy them. Lots of people came and asked me about them. My next thing is that I have a stall at the community fair that is coming up on the 9th of March and I will try to sell more there.
I have now made over US$500 to send to Barang school which is 52.000 Nepalses Rupee.

Helping Barang school get rebuilt is important to me because I think that everybody should have an opportunity to learn. Without a school, and having to have lessons in s buffalo shed, is not helping the students learn. I feel sad because we have so much stuff in our school and they have a very little amount of supplies that they can use. Learning is so much easier under a proper roof, with a bigger space and not just writing and text books. I really hope that the school can get rebuilt soon because the students are such nice people and they have been so kind to us we should return that kindness.
Passion: It is important to me that we are fair, and that we are nice to people and that we stop using plastic. I really want to help animals and nature.
Dream: My dream is that I can stop people using plastic and walking and biking more often so that they can stop using petrol.
Aspirations: I want to be a vet for house pets and also wild animals.
