As you give, so shall you receive.
It always surprises me where life takes you, the people you meet and the experiences that help shape who you are. Sometimes, all it takes is to share something of yourself, dig deeper or to let go a little and there is a new experience or opportunity that sparks action or change. I sincerely hope that rebuilding Barang School is beginning of a journey to helping many more children in less fortunate circumstances access education. Unicef's Simplified version of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (1996), Article 28 states, 'Children have the right to an education. Primary education should be free. Wealthier countries should help poorer countries achieve this.' Together we want to help this become reality. We truly believe that, 'What you want out of life, and what you get out of life, all depends on what you invest into the lives of others.' (June Archer) By Mel Agustina

It seems to me that the more people have the less they want to give. In Nepal the people are so kind and they always smile, but if you think about what they have, they have very little. But they have so much happiness and love and a really beautiful country. They often give to others more than they need to. I really care about other people's lives and how their situations affect them and their opportunities. I want to get Barang school built because a lot of the people there have to go through very cold winters and they can't learn well when they are cold and wet. Also, they are my friends and we had fun playing tag together in the rice fields.

Helping Barang school get rebuilt is important to me because I think that everybody should have an opportunity to learn. Having to have lessons in s buffalo shed is not helping the students learn. I feel sad because we have so much stuff in our school and they have a very little amount of supplies that they can use. Learning is so much easier under a proper roof, with a bigger space and not just writing and doing text books. I really hope that the school can get rebuilt soon because the students are such nice people. They have been so kind to us so we should return that kindness.
Passion: It is important to me that we are fair, and that we are nice to people and that we stop using plastic. I really want to help animals and nature.
Dream: My dream is that I can stop people using plastic and walking and biking more often so that they can stop using petrol.
Aspirations: I want to be a vet for house pets and also wild animals.
